Contribution Fundamentals in PlanSight

Contributions in Plansight are modeled inside the Modeler, and they flow directly into your presentation results once you save them.

Where to model contributions

From the Comparison page, open the Modeling tool. Then go to Contributions.

How contributions are organized

In the Contributions section, you’ll see:

  • Current contributions at the top
  • Proposed contributions below (these represent renewal plans or any alternative plan options)

This setup makes it easy to compare “what we do today” vs. “what we could do instead.”

Model each plan independently

Each proposed plan can be modeled independently.

Once you update contributions, the numbers update immediately below:

Apply one approach across all proposed plans (optional)

If you want all proposed plans to use the same contribution approach, you can choose All Plans.

This will apply the same settings to every proposed plan — but it won’t overwrite the current benefits.

Contributions show in the presentation

After you model contributions and save, those results carry forward and show up in the presentation for each plan option.
