Review & Send: Final Step Before Delivering Your RFP

The last step of the RFP Wizard gives you a quick snapshot of everything you’re about to send and lets you finalize a few important details.

What You’ll See

At a glance, you’ll be able to review:

  • RFP Name
  • Benefit Types included in the RFP
  • Carriers on your distribution list

This is your final chance to confirm that everything looks right before the RFP goes out.

Cover Letter

Use the RFP Cover Letter dropdown to choose which version of your cover letter you want to send.

(You can manage your cover letter templates separately—see the link in this guide.)

Proposal Due Date

Pick the date you’d like carriers to return their quotes.

It must be before the effective date, but carriers can still respond after the deadline if needed.

This date is simply a helpful prompt included in the outgoing email.

Sending the In-Force Plan Spreadsheet

You’ll also be asked if you want to send a spreadsheet of the customer’s current and renewal plan designs.

A few key notes:

  • This attachment is a PDF generated by PlanSight.
  • It includes only current and renewal benefits—no alternative quotes.
  • Only choose Yes if you’ve reviewed your presentation, confirmed enrollments, and ensured that all plan details look correct.

If you’re not fully confident in your setup, choose No and send it later once the presentation has been finalized.

Final Step

Once everything looks good, click Save & Send and your RFP will go out to the selected carriers.
