Quote Instructions
Learn how to give carriers clear quoting instructions and specify your compensation request for the RFP.

Use this section to give carriers the context they need to quote your group accurately. These notes go directly into the RFP, so include any details that clarify what you’re asking for and what the group has done historically.

Plan Quoting Details & Carrier History

This space is for any instructions or background that helps the carrier understand what you want them to quote. You can include things like:

  • “Match current plan designs”
  • “Quote 80% employer contribution”
  • “Add voluntary dental options”
  • “The group moved from ABC Carrier last year”

Basically, anything that guides the quoting request or gives helpful history about the group.

Compensation

Use this field to tell the carrier how you’d like compensation handled for the quotes you’re requesting. This can reflect your current arrangement or what you want going forward. Examples include:

  • Match current
  • 3% commission
  • 10% commission
  • $30 PEPM

Whatever you enter here will be included in your RFP submission so carriers clearly understand your requested compensation.
