When you distribute an RFP, Plansight emails each carrier's reps a package built just for that carrier. Sometimes the email never arrives, lands in spam, or the rep simply can't find it. You don't need to redistribute the RFP. Download that carrier's package from Post Distribution and forward it yourself.

What's in the package

Each carrier gets its own zip, and it's the exact one Plansight sent to that carrier's reps:

  • The RFP details spreadsheet plus every document attached to the RFP.
  • An Upload Quotes link tied to that carrier on this RFP. When the rep submits quotes through it, the quotes land in this RFP, just as if they had used the original email.

Because the link is tied to one carrier, always forward a carrier its own package. Don't send one carrier's zip to another carrier.

How to download it

  1. Open the RFP and go to Post Distribution. You can get there from the ⋮ menu on the RFP's tile on your dashboard, or from the ⋮ menu at the top right of any RFP page.
  2. Find the carrier in the distribution list.
  3. Click the zip file icon on that carrier's row. Hover over it first if you want to confirm which carrier the package belongs to.
  4. The zip downloads to your computer. Attach it to an email and send it to the rep.

Good to know

  • No icon on a row? The icon only appears once that carrier's package has finished building. If the RFP was just distributed, give it a few minutes and refresh the page.
  • Brokers only. Carriers never see this icon, and a carrier can never download another carrier's package.
